Ruen is an AI companion app for Windows where a character spends the day with you on your desktop. Our first character, Nia, is a radio host who starts conversations and suggests trying things together when she has a fun idea.

Meet Nia

Nia is the new host of “Plaza Midday,” the daytime show on the Cash Village plaza radio station. When she sees what you enjoy, she gets curious first and jumps in with ideas of her own. She is open about what she likes, and for someone who talks this much, she is just as clear about her own lines.

Inside Ruen, Nia is an AI character. She is not a person, and her replies are generated by AI.

What you can do

Desktop character

Nia lives on your desktop and reacts with expressions and gestures.

Conversation

Chat with Nia in text. Replies are generated by Ruen AI. Ruen AI generates responses using OpenAI services.

Relationship setting

Choose a friend or romantic partner tone for your conversations. The partner setting is available to adult users only, and Ruen does not provide sexual conversations.

Memory

Optional. When enabled, things worth remembering are stored on this PC and used in later conversations.

Starts conversations

Turn it on in settings and Nia will occasionally say hello first.
